Time-based real-time strategy video game Age of Empires was first created by Ensemble Studios and released for Xbox Game Studios in 2007. The first installment of the game was first launched in 1997. Since then there have been eight games released so far in the series.
From the Stone age to the Iron age, the Age of Empires concentrated on events in Europe, Africa, and Asia. All this happened while the expansion game investigated the rise and fall of the Roman Empire. However, its expansion focused on the Spanish conquest of Mexico. There were then two more games that focused on the early modern age when Europe was invading North America and several Asian nations were on the slide. Unlike the other installments, Age of Empires Online is a free-to-play online game that uses Games for Windows Live technology.
However, the Age of Mythology was a spin-off focusing on mythological aspects from ancient Greek and Egyptian mythology as opposed to the original Age of Empires. In addition, Age of Empires 4, the fourth main installment in the series, is now in production and is scheduled to be released soon. So, which gaming console will have access to Age of Empires 4?
Age of Empires 4 PS5, PS4 Release Date
As mentioned in the Trailer and all other social media platforms like Steam and Twitter, it was announced that the game is set to release on October 28, 2021. Upon watching the trailer, this is what fans had to say;

However, now what fans also want to know is if the Age of Empires 4 will be available for Playstation 4 and PlayStation 5 console users. Unfortunately, the game will not be available for PS players. Or at least that’s what all official accounts say. This being said, Age of Empires will be available for Xbox users. Players on PC can avail the game through the Xbox Game Pass.
