Mega Slowbro was introduced back in 2021, along with Galarian Slowpoke and Galarian Slowbro. The Slowbro family is a particularly loved one and is part of the Gen I lineup. Due to how early Mega Slowbro debuted in Pokemon Go, many players have their fair share of doubts regarding its effectiveness in the game as of now. So, continue reading to know if Mega Slowbro is good in Pokemon Go.

- Surf [Water]
- Psychic [Psychic]
Good, Bad, or Mediocre
Mega Slowbro is one of the easiest Mega Evolutions to get since it requires quite a lot less Mega Energy compared to others. Its stats are pretty average, although its defense is somewhat good. As for its recommended movesets, Water Gun, along with Psychic, is considered the best for it. However, you can also use Confusion and Psychic for a pure psychic build or Water Gun and Surf for a Water-focused one.
When you take a look at all the other Mega Evolutions, you will quickly realize just how irrelevant Mega Slowbro is. The only saving grace the Mega Slowbro has is its low Mega Evolution requirements, which can be used to complete your dex entry and nothing more. It’s really a bummer just how bad the Mega Slowbro is. The only other thing going for it is being a psychic-type mega evolution, but even that is nothing major since other Psychic Pokemon can do much better than it. Safe to say, the Mega Slowbro slips right into the bad side of our Good, Bad, or Mediocre scale.
