After numerous beta testing on various Huawei devices and smartphones, Huawei has officially announced that EMUI 11 update is rolling out for Huawei MatePad Pro and MatePad Pro 5G. The news was shared on the Weibo earlier today.Speaking of EMUI 11, it was launched on September 9,2020 with amazing features like improved multi-window mode, Seamless UI animations, Huawei share and many more. Huawei P30 and P40 were the first series of Huawei smartphones to receive the EMUI update.
Talking about Huawei MatePad Pro, it comes with Kirin 990 octa core processor with EMUI 10 running on Android 10 while Huawei MatePad Pro5G comes with Kirin 990 5G processor. The design of both devices looks like a premium tablet. MatePad Pro 5G comes with 5G network support. Both the devices have 10.8 inches IPS LCD display with 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution. The devices support Fast wireless charging backed by powerful Li-Po 7250 mAh battery. They are available in 128GB 6GB RAM, 256GB 8GB RAM, 512GB 8GB RAM variants and definitely a good choice for tablet users.
The users of the MatePad Pro and MatePad Pro 5G can update the system and get the new EMUI 11 just by following the steps: –
1) Open Settings & Search for Software Update option. Then click on update.
The update is an OTA update and will be available to limited users initially before rolling out to large number of users. Although the update is an official upgrade and not beta upgrade, it is recommended to back up your data to prevent data loss that might occur due to system instability.
