iRacing is widely considered to be one of the leading racing simulators out there, and that is no small part due to its replay director. However, enabling full-screen mode on the replay editor may be giving you a hard time. Don’t worry, we’ve got your back covered.
First up, the fact that you are here almost certainly implies that something isn’t right. Replays are supposed to be fullscreen by default. As such, there isn’t exactly a control for it. Fear not, for the fix for this should be easy enough. The first thing you should try doing is actually playing around with your resolution settings. This can be found in the in-game settings under the video tab. Keep in mind that sometimes, the 16:9 resolution can be a better fit for you than you may realize. Eventually, you should be able to find the perfect fit for your screen to enjoy iRacing at its most glorious.
Well, when you clicked on this article, you may have had a completely different intention. If you were looking to hide the UI elements from the screen in order to focus on the racing action, I can help you do that as well. Simply click the spacebar key to toggle UI and UX elements on and off. Hope that helped you out if that was what you were looking for.
Lastly, you may want to check out the full controls list for replays from this link. Also, MeTwoFive has an amazing video where he goes into deep, deep detail about everything related to replays, so check that out too. In case you are still unable to toggle full screen on your iRacing replays, you may also consider contacting support for help. We hope you are able to tackle the problem at the earliest to get right back on the tarmac!
