How to leave PS5 Party & Voice Chat

While there are many enjoyable games to play on the PlayStation 5, they are most enjoyable when played with your squad-mates. Although most multiplayer games now include built-in voice chat but if you want something more feature-rich, you should start using PlayStation Parties in your game to chat with your friends.

Organizing parties is an excellent way to stay in touch with your friends while playing video games on your console. It allows you to voice and text chat with your friends while playing different games, So now we’ll discuss more about the PS5 party and voice chat.

Make a party on the PS5 console.

Do you want a place where you can talk with a lot of people? Make a chat party and invite your friends to join.

  • Firstly, open the control center by pressing the PS button and then select Game Base.
  • Select Create Party from the Parties tab.
  • Choose the players you want in your party.

If you select players with whom you are already in a party, those party names will be displayed.

On the PS5 console, you can remove a player from a party.

As the owner of the party, you have the ability to remove players.

  • Highlight a player in the member list, then press the options button and choose to Kick Out.

On the PS5 console, join a party.

  • Firstly, you will need to access the control center.
  • Press the PS button and select Game Base.
  • Choose the party from the list of recent parties. If you don’t see it, go to View All Parties.

Access it in full screen to send text messages, captures, and other types of messages to a party.

In a party, how to start a voice chat?

  • Firstly, access the control center by pressing the PS button and select Game Base.
  • Select the party or online friend you want to voice chat with from the Parties or Friends tab.
  • Choose Voice Chat.
  • Choose Join. Voice chat begins. The card in the control center allows you to manage the chat. If you’re in a group, any member of the group can join the voice chat.

How to get out of the PS5 voice chat channel?

This is the quickest and most straightforward method.

  • When you’re in a party, double-click the PS button to open the voice chat channel.
  • There will be a button with “a door with a right arrow“.

This enables you to exit the voice chat channel.

How to get out of the PS5 party chat channel?

You can leave the party by Going to the main party screen, then clicking the three dots, and then selecting the option to leave the party.

This will take you away from the messages and you will no longer receive notifications from the party.
