Minecraft Java Lag Fix : Here’s how you can do it in 2021

While Minecraft can be one of the most beautiful and artistic games ever at times, it can never hurt to install some additional shaders to enhance your gaming experience. In this post, we will go over the entire process of doing so. Make sure to follow closely for the best results! Right, let’s get into it.

First up, what you will want to do is actually download a shader online. Simply search up Download Minecraft Shaders on your search bar and download one compatible with your device and OS. You may also consider checking out some Reddit archives for discussions and opinions on the best shaders and download sites. Once you have downloaded a shader file, it will be stored in your Downloads folder. Open up this folder and check for the type of file that your shader has come in. It could either be a zip file or an MCPACK file. First, let us look at what you need to do to install an MCPACK shader file. All you have to is double click on the file. This will start the importing process of the file into your game. Once the completed notification appears, open up the game settings and head over to the Global Resources tab and look for the My Packs section. Click on the “+” icon next to it to maximize the section. You should be able to see a list of all the shaders you have. Click on it, and select activate. Now, leave the game settings and the game will now equip the shader. In case you have downloaded a zip shader file, click the Windows + R buttons and type in this command: “%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe\ LocalState\games\com.mojang”. In the folder that opens up, click on LocalState>games>com.mojang and finally, resource_packs. Now, move your zip shader file to this folder location. Now, enter Minecraft and open up the game settings and head over to the Global Resources tab and look for the My Packs section. Click on the “+” icon next to it to maximize the section. You should be able to see a list of all the shaders you have. Click on it, and select activate. Now, leave the game settings and the game will now equip the shader.
