How to hear PS5 Capture Card Audio on PC using Volume Mixer ?

The gaming console has gone through a massive evolution over a decade now. Classic gaming consoles and Sega games occupied a major portion of 90’s kids’ childhood. The advent of PlayStation and Xbox has opened doors for gamers to play games with high resolution and better graphics. PlayStation has been the best gaming console for many years now. The quality they provide is immeasurable and commendable. This product was first published by Sony entertainment back on 3rd December 1994. In this blog, we are going to talk about using PS5 Capture Card Audio on a PC.

Steps to use Capture Card Audio on PC

This is a very easy procedure which you can follow. Since your ELGATO and Avermedia have HDMI pass-through, you can get your ps5 sound on pc. Here are the steps to get started.

  1. First of all, on your PS5 home screen, go to the PlayStation bar and click on sounds. Now for your output device select, HDMI device TV. This allows sound to pass through the capture card to the pc.
  2. Since you are done with all the settings, in your PS5, it’s time to configure your pc settings. So, now go to the control panel on your pc. And click on the system. Under system click on sound. On the right-hand side click on sound control, a dialogue box will appear. Now in the recording, click on the capture card that you are using.
  3. Check into listening to this device and click OK.
  4. Click on the advance sound option. You will notice your capture card listed in the settings. You can control the volume of the sound from the slider given in the settings and set it accordingly.
