When playing ICARUS, gamers can either join a co-op session or play solo with up to eight players. The survival game is set on planet ICARUS, which has a toxic environment and untamed wildlife as a result of terraforming failure that takes place. In the past, it was thought that the planet would be a second Earth, but now it is a place of unknown dangers and rare elements.

In order to restore your oxygen meter follow the steps below to get the best results.
Step 1
Craft a Pickaxe before hunting for oxygen
Step 2
Players must find and collect blue-colored stones called “Oxite”
Step 3
Drag the Oxite to the slot in order to consume it.
Step 4
Use the Pickaxe to break the large stones of Oxite and collect them
Step 5
Do not use all Oxites yet. Begin to hunt for animals, collect resources, and construct buildings.
Step 8
Another way of gaining more oxygen is by using the Oxidizer that is available at Tech Tree
Step 9
In order to use the Oxider, players must collect the Oxider Blueprint and craft it
Step 10
Place the Oxidizer at the base while also placing all Oxites. The stones will be then converted and refined into Oxygen.
Key points to note while attaining Oxygen:
- Players must note that while collecting and using Oxites will help regain oxygen, it is only a temporary solution.
- Oxider can also be purchased at the beginning of the game. While that may be tempting, it is highly suggested that players wait and use initial points wisely. This can be done by using initial points to unlock weapons or survival kits
- After players unlock the Oxidizer Blueprint, it is advised that players have enough Leather and Bones which can be gathered through animals.
