There are a few options available in the safe mode of the PS5. Selecting any of these modes will cause the system to respond accordingly and any of them can be used to get out of safe mode or a boot loop. The options are as follows-

1) Restart the system

This is the most basic option where the system will restart and exit safe mode when it boots. It can sometimes be helpful in exiting a boot loop and can be used to exit safe mode.

2) Change Resolution

This option resets the resolution of the display to the default display. This can help with blank screen errors and can be used to force the system to restart and exit the boot loop.

3) Restore Default Settings

This option does NOT delete user data. It merely resets all settings in the system to default and can be very effective in exiting boot loops and safe mode.

4) Update System Software

This option allows users to update the system via direct download or through a USB. Updates are usually known to fix most bugs and issues with the system and make it smooth. They can be very effective in breaking boot loops and exiting safe mode.

5) Reset the system

This option involves resetting the system to factory defaults and will cause all data to be deleted. This will break the boot loop as it is basically uninstalling all files and restarting the system from scratch.
