Minecraft consists of a Mob system to make the game more than just a fun and creative game to play with friends, you can encounter these mobs at any time of your gameplay experience, especially at night. The best way to show your dominance in Minecraft would be to collect the mob heads, such as Zombie, Creeper, Skeleton, Dragon, and wither skeleton. We will show you how to get mob heads in Minecraft with a simple and easy-to-follow guide.
Before we begin, we should state that each head is attainable in different areas of the game, the creeper, skeleton, and zombie are found in the overworld, the wither skeleton in the netherworld, and the ender dragon in the ends. We will now explain how to get each one step-by-step below.
Wither Skeleton
To get the wither skeleton is comparatively easier than the others and it gets even easier if you have a loot sword because the drop rate of a wither skeleton head without one is 25%. All you have to do is go find some in the nether and continue killing them until you get one that drops its head.
Ender Dragon
To get the ender dragon head you will have to begin by killing the dragon and once done you will have to look for a floating bedrock structure
- Once you have found the floating bedrock structure, throw an ender pearl inside it and you will be transported to a new realm, the end cities
- You will have to look around for a bit to find an end city, and once you find an end city, you should be able to find the massive pirate ship that’s usually placed right next to them.
- Get up on the pirate ship, and at the front of it you will find a dragon head
Skeleton, Zombies, and Creepers
Though you can get the skeleton, creeper, and zombie heads in the overworld, the technique to get them is quite tricky, time-consuming, and at times frustrating.
Before you start this next guide, you should have a trident in your inventory, if you don’t have one and don’t know how to get one then follow the instructions provided below.
- To find a trident you have to find the “drowned”
- You will find them at the seabed by all chances but keep killing them and you will have one drop eventually
- Some hold a trident in their hand and hence it makes it easier to get one.
You will need to enchant the trident with channeling, if you do not get it on your first try then place a grindstone and remove the enchantment each time until you get the one required.
Once you’ve gotten a trident the steps don’t become easy yet but are quite straightforward.
- You will have to wait for a rainstorm to attempt this, unless you use some cheats, we would suggest keeping the trident in your inventory until you find yourself in a rainstorm and then follow the next part.
- Once the lightning in a rainstorm starts, you need to look for a creeper, hit it with your trident and it will become a charged creeper.
- The charged creeper is used to kill the mob for which you want the mob head of, for instance, a zombie.
- Once charged the creeper, gains its attention to come to explode near a zombie, make sure you don’t die, or else that could cause a few problems.
- if the zombie or whichever mob you decide to kill using the creeper, does indeed die then you will get the mob heads.
You will be able to get all the mob heads using the methods we have given above.
