Nintendo eShop not available error

What good does it do if you don’t get sounds while playing games? Yes, the Nintendo switch no sound headphone error does not output the game sound. The error is self-explanatory. However, it is sometimes seen that the users make a silly mistake.

They turn on the “Mute when headphones disconnected” option. This option will mute the console when headphones are unplugged. You will only get the game music if you press the volume button or turn off this option manually.

No Sound in Headphone error

Well, this might not be the case with you. If you see that the above-mentioned tip does not apply to you, then we have just the tip for you.

  • Ensure that the Nintendo Switch you are using has the latest firmware.
  • Plug your headphones in the jack of the console.
  • Press the + or – buttons from the side of the device to adjust the volume
  • You can also adjust the volume from the Quick Settings screen.

Now, one of the two cases can happen –

  1. The sound is very low
  2. No sound at all

Solutions

In case you hear the sound in the headphones at a very low volume, the Lower Max Headphone volume may be turned on. It is completely your choice whether you want to raise or lower the Max Headphone volume. To do this, follow the steps mentioned below –

  • Select System Settings from the Home.
  • Go to the System section
  • You will notice the Lower Max Headphone Volume option
  • As you can understand, if you turn it off, the volume output will increase. Conversely, if you turn it on, the volume will decrease.

Hopefully, this should have eradicated your error. It can so happen that the error is still present. Unfortunately, it might be the issue with the headphone jack. Before contacting Nintendo Support, try a different headphone just to be sure whether it is working or not. If the issue is with the headphone, you can simply buy a new one. If not, get your console repaired to fix the Nintendo Switch no sound in headphones error.
