How to fix Nintendo switch error code 2813-0009

People have reported error code 2813-0009 while performing monetary transactions. The developers are yet to deliver an exact fix to this issue. Generally, the error pops up while doing the following operations on Nintendo Switch eShop.

  • Purchase using the Credit Card
  • Redeeming a download code

You need not worry if the error is displayed while performing a transaction. Your money will not be deducted. This error has thrown a lot of people into chaos because they don’t know how to fix it. Well, there is actually nothing to fix.

The error is shown to you due to the following reasons –

  1. Temporary Service Outage
  2. Nintendo file cache

You can go to the newly launched Network Status page of Nintendo Switch. On this page, the servers under maintenance are listed in the Online Service Status tab. If you see that the list does contain some information related to maintenance, it is best to try again after a few hours.

Another way out is to restart the eShop application. Return to the Home and then launch the eShop all over again. This should refresh the system cache and remove the error. If the problem still persists, get in touch with Nintendo Switch Consumer Support.
