However users have recently complained about an issue with the EOS Webcam Utility. Users said that it has been working for other video chatting apps but not in Discord. A few users said that they have been trying to use the EOS Webcam Utility on Discord but they are not able to do it. Users have mentioned that it is the Canon Beta Webcam Utility that lets Canon DSLR cameras to be seen as a webcam and that it was working fine a week ago. Another user said that he installed the EOS Webcam Utility and while selecting the video profile for his Canon camera in Discord, he gets no video feed while testing the video. Many users have said that they have not been able to get Discord to work with the webcam software. It works fine in Zoom but not in Discord. If you use OBS and get the VirtualCam plugin, you can go back to Discord and make your video source the OBS virtual cam and it will work.
