How to cure Zombie Villager in Minecraft?

Minecraft is a great game, and we do not doubt the fact at all. Even I am a big fan of the game and play it every now and then. Well, one of the most important aspects of the game is the fantasy element it adds. Yes, for example, we can cure a zombie villager in the game after he is infected! Did you know that? If you didn’t, don’t worry, we have got you covered!

WHAT IS A ZOMBIE VILLAGER?

How to cure a Zombie villager?

If you have played Minecraft for quite some time now, you must have seen the villages. You will find these villages once in a while exploring the land. There are a lot of villages where you will find villagers roaming around everywhere. But you might have come across dead villages as well. Now, how will you know that a village is dead?

First, you will not see any villagers roaming around anywhere. Second, you will not find any iron golem in the village. And that is the reason why the village is dead! Third, you will find that all the houses will have some blocks broken and will have spider webs in place of those blocks. If you find these, you should know that the village is dead.

And if you are lucky enough, you will also find dead villagers, or you can say Zombie villagers, in the village. These are the villagers that have been infected by the zombies. These zombie infected villagers are called Zombie Villagers. And the good to know fact is that you can cure them and turn them back into normal villagers again! Yes, you can do that.

HOW TO CURE A ZOMBIE VILLAGER?

If you didn’t know how to cure a Zombie Villager in Minecraft, here is the detailed guide featuring the same-

  • For this, you will need primarily two things – a golden apple and a potion of weakness. Now, a golden apple is not something that you can craft. You can get a golden apple from treasures and chests that you find here and there. But, you will need a brewing stand, a blaze powder, a water bottle, and a fermented spider eye for crafting a potion of weakness.

How to cure a Zombie villager?

  • Here is how you can craft a potion of weakness. Go to the brewing stand and place the blaze powder on the extreme left spot, a fermented spider eye in the center, and the water bottle in one of the bottom spots to start brewing. After this, place the Blaze powder to start the process.
  • But this will be a regular potion of weakness. To turn it into a splash potion, you will have to switch the fermented spider eye with the gunpowder and leave the potion of weakness to turn into a splash potion. After some time, you will have your splash potion of weakness ready.
  • Now, here is what you have to do to cure the zombie villager. Go to the Zombie Villager that you want to cure and throw a splash potion of weakness on them. Next, feed them the golden apple, and you are done. But the zombie villager will not get cured instantly. It will take some time before you can have your infected villager turned back into normal.

Note: When you are going to cure a zombie villager, make sure to place a roof over its head to cover it from the sun. Or else your zombie villager will die even before getting cured.
