Hell Let Loose No Compatible Servers Found Issue: Is there any fix yet

The issue with ‘No Compatible Servers Found’ seems to be related to the matchmaking process in Hell Let Loose. The error prevents players from finding and joining a server to play the game. This can get frustrating considering the popularity of the game and the fact that players devote their time and effort to it. A player should not be limited by servers and connectivity issues, so in this guide, we’ll be discussing the possible solutions for the issue. Continue reading for more details.

Hell Let Loose No Compatible Servers Found Issue: Is there any fix yetEasyAntiCheat Repair

Many players have discussed this issue on multiple forums; fortunately, this led the devs to come up front and address it. They came up with a temporary solution to the problem on Steam’s general discussion page about the topic. Start by locating the EasyAntiCheat folder of the game. This can be done by accessing the game’s installation folder by heading to the C drive > Program Files >  Steam > steamapps > common > Hell Let Loose > EasyAntiCheat. Once the folder is located, launch EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe, click on the ‘Repair Service’ button, and let the installation complete. After the installation is complete, launch Hell Let Loose through Steam, and this should get rid of the issue.

Antivirus Exception List

Antivirus/firewalls are great at protecting the system, but at times, they get a bit too careful. This might lead to them blocking some games as well. Make sure the antivirus or firewall is not blocking the game; you can add the game to the exception list to be sure. To add the game file to the exception list, go to Settings > Update and Security > Windows Security > Virus and Threat Protection > Manage > Exclusions. Click on ‘Exclusions’ and select the game’s .exe file from its installation directory to add it to the exception list. Players can also try disabling their firewall if this issue has been encountered quite a lot.

Run As Administrator

It is also suggested to run the Hell Let Loose’s .exe file as administrator. This will prioritize the game by giving it extra privileges to change security settings, change system files, and access other folders. To run Hell Let Loose as administrator, go to the game’s installation directory, and right-click on its .exe file. Now, select Properties, and head to the Compatibility tab. After this, select the Run as Administrator option. Next, click OK. Now, launch the game and check if the issue persists.

Change Steam Region

If you’re facing the ‘No Compatible Servers Found’ issue, there is a possibility that the error might be occurring in your region’s server specifically. You can try to change your Steam region and check if the issue is fixed. To do so, start by launching Steam > Settings > Change the Download Region to EU, US, or RU. Make sure to change the region to the one that is closest to yours for a stable ping, or try different regions and choose one with a stable connection.

Once the region is changed, you need to run the Steam client as an administrator. Go to Program Files (x86) > Steam folder > Right-click on Steam.exe > Properties > Compatibility > Run as administrator. After this, relaunch Steam and restart the game.

Turn off IPv6

Enabling IPv6 can be one of the reasons you’re facing the ‘No Compatible Servers Found’ error in Hell Let Loose. So, to get rid of this error, you can try turning it off. Go to Windows Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center. Click on Change Adapter Settings > Right-click on your connection (either Ethernet or Wifi) > Properties > Uncheck the box next to Internet Protocol Version 6 to disable it. Make sure to check and uncheck again if the box was already unchecked. Once you’ve disabled it, restart your system and relaunch the game. This will enable you to connect to a server and find a match to play the game.

Use VPN

Players can take a different approach, as disabling IPv6 is not always recommended. A few players have noticed that using a VPN has fixed the problem for them. A VPN helps mask your IP address and trick applications and websites into believing you’re connecting from a different country. This enables you to browse through servers, making it a good tool for gamers. Playing Hell Let Loose through a VPN can allow you to connect to different servers and check multiple servers for a stable connection. You can choose a server through a VPN with the best ping you can play on. Some of the best VPNs for gaming to try include ExpressVPN, CyberGhost, PureVPN, etc.

Log In/Out of Steam

Players have reported that logging out of Steam and then logging back in helped them fix the issue in the game. So, you can try this method as well.

If the issue persists, make sure to submit a request on the game publisher’s official website, Team17, or report the issue on their official Discord channel. Well, this brings us to the end of the guide, and we hope the workarounds provided above prove to be helpful.
