Google is mostly known for its search feature. But it has given us a lot more than that. It has given us the Google Play Store on our phones. It is a digital market that is full of various kinds of content. Google Play Store started its journey as ‘Android Market’ in 2008. It was launched with the very first Android devices. The aim of the Android Market was the distribution of apps and games. Android Marker was not supporting paid apps and games till 2009 and had 450,000 Android apps and games by 2012.

The creation of the Google Play Store in 2012 was the combination of three different online markets that Google was running at that time. It combined Android Market, Google Music Store, and Google eBookstore. Google eBookstore was launched in 2010 and had around three million eBooks. It was mostly full of public domain titles and scans. Google Music was launched in 2011 in a beta version.

In comparison to Android apps and games, Google Music and eBook stores are not exclusive to Android devices. Google took the same step as Apple that kept the App Store, Apple Books, and iTunes as separate entities.

Android users have recently reported an issue related to Google Play Store. Users said that they have been experiencing an error called Error Code 927. Users said that the error has been appearing in the two most important sections of the Google Play Store. The first is the launch screen and the updating or downloading screen. A few users that the problem started after they updated their system to a new version.

Users complained that whenever they launched the Google Play Store, the Error Code 927 appeared on the screen. Some also said that the error appeared when the app download was in the last stage and as a result of that, people were not able to install the apps. Google has not yet mentioned anything on how to fix this. For now, there are two things you can try. Go to your phone settings, clear the data and cache of Google Play Store and relaunch it. Switch off your phone, restart it and see if the issue still exists.
