Gestalt: Steam & Cinder is set in a beautifully constructed steampunk universe. The game is a 2D action-adventure based on 16-bit classics. In this game, players go on a high-octane quest of discovery that’s full of twists and turns. An altruistic accident supercharges an unstoppable energy source that awakens long-dormant robots in the Canaan region. This is when players take on the role of Aletheia. When Aletheia is armed with her new talents, she sets out to discover the truth about herself.
They can also harness Aletheia’s inner power in a wide range of melee and ranged assaults for unrelenting, high-speed fighting. To learn more about Aletheia’s abilities and equipment, players can also accumulate experience. This will allow them to explore new locations and have a fighting chance against Canaan’s deadliest opponents A rich cast of characters and an intertwined tale full of unexpected turns and beautiful set pieces await players in Canaan. Player decisions will determine Aletheia’s fate and that of other characters they will come across on their trip.

The game is published by Sold Out. Last year in June 2020, the video game publisher released the first official trailer on its Youtube channel to give games an insight into what’s planned. Looking at this modern 2-D action game from the 16-bit era made fans of the genre very excited.

As mentioned on the official blog page for Gestalt: Steam & Cinder, the release date will be in 2021. The same has also been mentioned on the official Steam page. Since we are almost nearing the end of the year, it is most likely that the publisher and developer will release the game either this month of September or before the end of December. In the meantime, players can indulge themselves in the Alpha demo version of the game which is available for download on Steam
