Genshin Impact Energizing Bento: How to cook

Genshin Impact Energizing Bento: How to cook

miHoYo’s golden goose, Genshin Impact, is still going strong to this day. The gacha title just released Version 3.7 and is gearing up for the release of its new region, Fontaine. There’s a new story quest for Yoimiya fans out there, along with a hangout event with Kaveh. Well, all these are just the tip of the iceberg. If you want, you can read the full patch note for 3.7 here. Now, among the myriad of new things, we also got a new dish called “Energizing Bento”.

It’s a pretty well-known fact that Genshin Impact is inspired by a lot of ideas from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. One major part of BotW was that you could cook various dishes, each with different types of effects. And miHoYo didn’t shy away from implementing the same feature in Genshin Impact either. Like in BotW, cooking in Genshin Impact is quite important too. You never know when you will need to eat a dish to save your life in Genshin Impact. And dishes are especially crucial when you are on your way to tackle the Weekly Boss or any one of the domains. So, how do you cook the Energizing Bento in Genshin Impact that was recently added to the game? Let’s find out!

Genshin Impact Energizing Bento: How to cook

As we explained earlier, Energizing Bento is a new dish that was released in the latest Version 3.7 update of Genshin Impact. This new version introduces a ton of new content and characters, including this four-star Dendro unit, Kirara. Here’s the in-game description of the dish:

“Kirara’s specialty. A human-friendly bento box Kirara put in a great deal of effort to prepare. By observing the preferences of human girls, she came up with this combination of well-balanced side dishes and adorable cat-shaped rice balls. It’s just like a carefully wrapped package… You could receive one every day and never get tired of it!”

Energizing Bento is a special food item, if you didn’t already know. For the uninitiated, a “special dish” in Genshin Impact is a food item that can only be gained by cooking a base dish by a specific character. It’s not 100% guaranteed, though, since the probability ranges from 5% to 20%. For example, Woodland Dream is a special dish that can only be acquired by having Albedo as the cook and Sunshine Sprat as the base dish.

Now, in order to get Energizing Bento, you will need to have Kirara in your party. After this, cook the dish called, “Invigorating Kitty Meal” as Kirara, and there is a chance that you eventually get Energizing Bento (not always). The recipe for the Invigorating Kitty Meal includes:

  • 4x Fish
  • 2x Raw Meat
  • 2x Seagrass
  • 1x Rice

If you don’t have the recipe for this dish, you can get it by completing the “Neko Is a Cat: Shrine Recipe” world quest. Well, consuming Energizing Bento will restore 34% of your character’s maximum HP and also regenerate 980 HP every 5 seconds for 30 seconds.

Anyway, we do hope that this guide has helped you in getting the Energizing Bento in Genshin Impact. For more such guides on the latest gaming trends, don’t forget to follow DigiStatement.
