Fruits Basket, is one of the popular anime which has been based on the manga of the same name. The manga has been written & illustrated by Natsuki Takaya. It was published by Hakusensha from 1998 to 2006.
Good news is coming for Food wars fans as its Season 2 is coming in Spring 2020. Its second season will air on TV Tokyo in Japan. Season 2 of the anime features the same cast & staff which was there for the first season. However, no official air date has been confirmed for the second season yet.

Fruit Basket shares the story of Tohru Honda, an orphan girl, who after meeting Yuko, Kyo, and Shigure Soma, learns that twelve members of the Soma family are possessed by the animals of Chinese Zodiac.
They are cursed to turn into their animals forms, when they are weak, stressed or embraced by anyone of the opposite sex (normal person).
