During a performance over a car, the Girlfriend and Boyfriend have an accident that leads to their death. The King is head of Limbo and the couple demands that they want to get back to overworld. Now, as you know the drill, there is a rap battle incoming between the Boyfriend and The King. If you win, the couple gets back to the overworld, else they disappear into void.
