IronOak Games’ For The King 2 could have gotten a more positive reaction from fans if the devs had just delayed the game a bit and focused on polishing it. Unfortunately, FTK 2 did launch, and while the release was not a disastrous one, it did come with a myriad of issues. The Adventure Not Found is a major one that many have encountered in-game.
For the uninitiated, this particular error is exclusive to the multiplayer part of the game. Players encounter this issue when trying to play a multiplayer game, where they will be unable to join the lobby and such. Most have chalked this up to server-related issues and such. If you too are struggling with the same, consider reading this guide until the end.
- For the King (II) Adventure Not Found Error: Is there any fix yet
IronOak did fix this particular issue in one of their recent hotfix updates. However, if you still happen to be encountering this issue, try the following workarounds:
Restart –
Start with this method first. While we can’t say if this will completely fix this issue, do give it a try once and check if the bug goes away or not. If it stays, you can just move on to the next workaround.
Update –
Well, the obvious thing to do here is to update the game and get the latest available hotfix. For some reason, if you still haven’t updated the game, do so and then check if the issue persists or not. If yes, then try this next method.
Search for the Lobby –
Someone from the For The King 2 team suggested searching for lobbies instead of using Steam invites, so try doing this. You can even try adding a password to your lobby server and then inviting friends by using the Friends button.
Switch servers –
At times, you will see errors like this when servers are either struggling hard to keep up or under maintenance. In such cases, what we recommend you do is switch to another server. Additionally, know that servers are set to null by default, so don’t forget to change it.
Wait a while –
Sometimes you might experience a delay in room creation, so don’t panic or anything. You just need to wait for a while, and then you will be able to join the room. Or you can just keep pressing the join button till you are allowed in.
Check game version –
You should ensure that both you and your co-op friends are on the same game version. This is so that you can avoid a mismatch error, which in itself can contribute to an error like this. Now, if you and your friends are on the same version, try the next workaround.
Verify files –
Players can also try the verifying files method and see if it helps in resolving this issue. Basically, what you need to do is open Steam and click on Library. From there, right-click on the game and select Properties > Installed Files > Verify integrity of game files. Now, wait until the process is over, and then restart your PC.
So, did any of these help you get around this issue? If yes, then why not try finding a fix for the Queen Spider boss fight bug too? And as always, don’t forget to follow DigiStatement for more guides like this. Also read: For the King 2 (II) All Curses List & How to Cure Them
