To be able to fish in Fallout 76, you will need to first complete the “Casting Off” quest in the Mire region. Completing this quest will give you your first fishing rod. Once you have one, it’s time to visit Appalachia. This fish can be found in the forest region of Appalachia. Also, don’t forget bait. Any bait will work for this fish. You can start by bringing common bait with you. Once that’s taken care of, now let’s get to the catching part.

Kanawha Piranha: How to catch?

First, go to the forest area of Appalachia and find water bodies. You can find some near Wayward. Once you find one, equip your fishing rod, point it towards the water body, and select the Fish choice to start fishing. Once you cast your line, check if the hook/bobber dips into the water. If it does, that means a fish has bitten it. Now you can start reeling it in by playing the fishing mini-game. You have to make sure that the fish is inside the highlighted part in the radar. Eventually, the fish will be caught.

Well, you aren’t going to get a Kanawha Piranha on your first try, unless you are really lucky. Since it’s an uncommon fish, you will have to try a few times before you get one.

Improve your chances

To improve your chances of getting the Kanawha Piranha, you must look for it during the rainy weather. This boosts the fish’s spawn rate and you can get one if you try a few times. In addition to this, you can use improved bait or even superb bait to drastically increase the odds of getting one.

So, now you know how to get the Kanawha Piranha in Fallout 76. We hope that you find this guide informative. If you did, consider visiting DigiStatement daily for more such interesting reads on all things gaming.
