Here is the step on how to change the race length in the game –

First, you will have to head to the Career mode in the game. Next, in the Career Mode, you have to follow the steps below –

  • First and foremost, you have to go to the Session Selection screen. The Session Selection screen pops up at the start of the first portion of the weekend.
  • Next up, you have to go to the top-right corner of the screen and select the Session Length.
  • After selecting the Session Length, you can press the A button (for Xbox) or X button (for PlayStation) to enter it.
  • Finally, you have to choose one of the four options for race length: Short – 5 laps, Medium – 25% of a standard race, Long – 50% of a standard race, and Full length of the Grand Prix.
  • In the Grandprix race of the game, you have to follow the steps below –
    • Firstly, you have to select an event and enter the Settings for the event.
    • Next up, you have to select the Weekend Structure and change the configuration of the weekend.
    • Finally, you can now change the length of the race from one of the options. The options for race length are – Very Short – 30 minutes, three-lap race, Short – 30 minutes, five-lap race, Medium – 30 minutes, 25% of normal laps, Long – 60 minutes, 50% of normal laps, and Full – 60 minutes, 100% of normal laps.
