If you love racing and racing games, I am sure the name of F1 games gets your system running. It is a tragedy that the biggest race in the world has been delayed due to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic but the F1 game could come to the rescue.
The coronavirus can stop the Grand Prix but F1 and Gfinity keep F1 2019 updated with weekly races. The last year’s racing game dropped two months prior to the expected release date and has grabbed critical acclaim and praise, especially the career mode was a superb addition to its roster.
Now Codemasters have to push their boundaries to achieve such a result or greater once more.
Expected Release Date
Last year Codemasters shocked us by dropping the game two months earlier, in June but there is a high chance that this time the eventual release might be delayed due to the current world health scenario.
We can expect an announcement from Codemasters soon enough if the expected is somewhere around June.
Gameplay
The gameplay of F1 has always been consistent, there have no nagging bugs or major game-play issues that needed addressing but that doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t expect any improvements.
New locations and new cars might be paired with new mechanics. Rumours suggest there might be a new game mode too.
Career Mode
F1 has put in considerable time and effort into perfecting the Career Mode and it has become their staple ingredient. Players thus put their most time into playing the career mode, especially with the introduction of F2 and a feeder set of races was a big step that paid off for them.
We might see some small changes forthcoming in the career mode but it would a lot to expect a tried, tested and successful mode to get a full revamp.
There have been hints that April will be the month when we get the teaser for a new trailer and a proper announcement. So do not put a break to your excitement and enjoy!
