Escape from Tarkov Patch 0.12.6 Notes Coming Soon With Full Wipe Devs Confirmed

Battlestate Games

Battlestate Games lead developer Nikita Buyanov has confirmed the much-anticipated Escape from Tarkov’s full server swipe is coming very soon with Patch 0.12.6.

Winning in Escape From Tarkov is heavily dependent on how much arsenal of weapons and resources a player has. Some players lags behind while some reigns in Tarkov, but devs do full server swipe to make everyone back to square one.

Server wipes are the biggest moments in the game, and they happen at a random interval. In patch 0.12.5 live stream, lead developer Nikita Buyanov has mentioned that 0.12.6 will send the title back to its out-of-the-box state and said that it would be very soon. It clearly shows all odds in favor of full swipe coming with patch 0.12.6.

Tarkov’s full Patch 12.6 wipe

“I saw somebody said that it (the server wipe) would be months after 12.5. That is just not true,” Nikita said. “12.6 is ready. We’re doing primary testing. We just have a few issues to fix. It will not be months… it may even be less than a month.”
He also said that the content is done and continued that once they hit the freeze period, there will be only a small amount of time before the full swipe lands on live servers.
“Right now, 12.6’s testing is underway. It’s on the way… very soon.” he continued

Buyanov also confirmed other details of patch 0.12.6, which includes damage and penetration buffs for 9mm and .366 ammo, AS VAl, and VSS nerf and lowering Jager quests’ difficulty.

He also said that players would be able to access to “two or three more lines in their stash,” which could be helpful in post wipe. Buyanov also teased significant changes coming to player hideouts, and small economy tweaks.

Escape from Tarkov Patch 0.12.6 Notes Release Date

Buyanov didn’t reveal the release date, but according to his statements, it looks like we are less than a month away from patch 0.12.6. We may get to see the patch notes release in Mid- May. However, nothing is confirmed until the official announcement.
