Dragon Ball Sparking Zero Local Multiplayer Support: Will it be Available During Launch?

Do you enjoy playing your favorite games with your buddies? If the answer’s yes, then the local multiplayer support is a crucial feature for you. This would also mean that every time a game you like comes out, you’ll try to find out if it supports local multiplayer. The situation isn’t different for Bandai Namco Entertainment’s Dragon Ball Sparking Zero. This latest title based on the Dragon Ball universe is set to launch on October 11. Dragon Ball Sparking Zero Local Multiplayer Support: Will it be Available During Launch?

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero is coming out on October 11, and we’re assuming that it’ll be a remarkable experience. However, the chances of local multiplayer support being included in the title were up in the air for a while. This is especially because earlier this year, reports claimed that the game would not feature a local split-screen. What’s more unfortunate about this news is that this decision wasn’t taken at the developers’ end. Instead, this was due to certain issues related to Sony and Microsoft. Quite naturally, fans were all upset when the news broke. It meant that the only option they’d have to play with their friends was through online multiplayer. That was truly quite upsetting and fans couldn’t figure out how to express their disappointment.

Well, if that news has reached you and you feel dejected, now is your time to buckle up. As of the latest update on Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, the game will indeed include local multiplayer during launch. This is after the fans repeatedly kept asking about implementing the same. Finally, Bandai Namco has indeed complied with the popular demands. However, there’s one catch. The local multiplayer mode will only be available within the Hyperbolic Time Chamber stage. It’s a restricted stage that doesn’t offer open-world gameplay. Furthermore, since the game was originally designed as a single-player title, there are some caveats when selecting characters in the local multiplayer. So, two players won’t be able to select their characters simultaneously and they must do so one by one. That being said, the implementation of a local multiplayer mode, however, it is, is an indication of the fact that Bandai Namco does care about its fans and wants to actively cater to them.

So, that’s all we have on the local multiplayer support details in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero. If you found this article insightful, don’t forget to stay tuned to DigiStatement for more such gaming content and news!
