Google Camera (Gcam) was launched on April 16, 2014.The GCam app’s development began in 2011 by Marc Levoy for Google Glass’s image fusion technology.
The image processing done by the GCam app and features like NightSight which captures multiple long exposure shots to get more light into the camera or SmartBurst which captures 10 pictures under a second makes Google Camera one of the best camera app for Android phones.
GCam has now been released for the Vivo Y51. Vivo Y51 was launched on 3rd December 2020. The display on the Y51 is a 6.58 inch touchscreen with FHD resolution. The Y51 has a triple camera setup on the back with 48MP primary camera with f/ 1.79 aperture, 8MP secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture and third camera of 2MP with f/2.4 aperture. Front camera has a 16MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture.
Vivo Y51 has a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 665 with 8 gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of internal storage with expandable storage. The dimensions of the Y51 are 163.86 x 75.32 x 8.38mm and weighs 188 grams. It was launched in two colours, Titanium Sapphire and Crystal Symphony. All the features in the GCam’s 7.3 version seem to be working on the Vivo Y51.
