Dota 2: 4AM abandons the roster, Fy team changes tags

4AM and Xu fy Linsen Elephant Dota 2 roster may end their cooperation. This was announced by the VPEsports portal. The parties have not yet released official statements.

The reason for breaking off business relations was the problematic transfer of carry Zhang Eurus Chenzhong from Vici Gaming. The club initially signed another player, Liu Sylar Jiajun, but then dropped him from the roster before the start of the first matches. According to media reports, the other 4AM members did not like Sylar’s candidacy, and they donated part of their salaries to pay for the Eurus transfer.

Kerry VG joined the new team on October 10 and played several matches with her, but after a month it became known that the organizations had not closed the deal for his transfer. Vici Gaming representatives said they went to 4AM halfway, but still have not received payment in full. The next day, the management of 4 Angry Men and the investor of the team accused each other of non-compliance with partnership obligations.

The statement went like this:

“In March 2019, 4AM Esports Club signed a two-year partnership agreement with Multi-Channel Networks Elephant as an agent for the club’s social media management. The partnership was limited to WeChat, qq.com and TikTok platforms. During the period of this partnership, Elephant had arrears in payment for cooperation, so both parties could not agree on a work plan for the Dota 2 project. Now the team is temporarily funded and managed independently of Elephant, and further cooperation with the company is in question. “

Now the Elephant.4AM team will perform under the changed tag – Elephant. The roster will continue to perform at China Dota2 Pro Cup Season 2.

The tournament runs from 14 to 29 November. Eight teams compete against each other for $90 thousand. The schedule and results of the competition can be followed in the report.

4AM Roster:

  • Zhang Eurus Chenzhong
  • Lu Somnus 丶 M Yao
  • Zhou Yang Haiyan
  • Xu fy lingsen
  • Zhu RedPanda Zhihao
