Alien Isolation, a survival horror game with by far one of the most dreadful and chilling atmospheres, where you are in constant danger for your life, you play as Amanda, who is navigating through the extremely uncertain world where everyone is for themselves. Alien Isolation places you in a world unprepared, where you must scavenge for resources, improvise in order to find solutions to various problems, these improvise not being mission-related but for survival in the harsh world, the game was released on October 7, 2014, for all major platforms such as PlayStation 4 and 3, Xbox one and 360, PC, and was later ported to Linux, OS X, and Nintendo Switch.
The game since release has also had various downloadable content released, two such downloadable packs came out with the release of the game and the remaining 5 were released throughout 2014 and 2015.

In an interview held by rockpapershotgun with the developers of Alien isolation, they asked whether multiplayer will ever be possible in the game, to which the developers replied that they had thought of it and how they could implement it but their main idea was for the game to be a singleplayer experience, and also with more than one player, they won’t feel as outnumbered as they would in a singleplayer game.
Hence, Alien Isolation does not have a multiplayer mode and it seems that it will remain like this.
