Bungie, Inc. is an American video game developer based in Bellevue, Washington. The studios have developed many popular gaming titles including Halo & Destiny series.
But today, Destiny 2 players are experiencing server issues right after the game update 2.7.1. Bungie has released an official update regarding the same which you can check below.
We are continuing to perform tests of possible solutions to restore missing currencies and materials to players. Destiny 2 will remain offline until the issue can be resolved. We will provide another update by 2 PM Pacific.

Currently, engineers at Bungie are trying to resolve the ongoing issue. They are continuing to perform tests of possible solutions to restore missing currencies and materials to players.

We have validated a fix for this issue and will be rolling back all player accounts to how they were before Update 2.7.1 went live. Destiny 2 will remain offline for several more hours as we deploy this fix. Another update will be provided by 3 PM Pacific.
