Calabrese is a new error code that surfaced this season and is the reason behind many networking related problems that are currently being experienced by the players. These problems are being experienced with different intensities, some players complain about a significant lag, a few experience unexpected disconnection from the server even when they have a strong Internet connection.
One common complaint that has been raised by a major proportion of the players is that they weren’t able to log in to their accounts to play the game. They couldn’t gain entry on to the server regardless of the number of times they typed in their correct credentials on the login page. Also, many players have complained about being kicked out the moment they logged in.
The sheer size and frequency of these complaints was brought to Bungie’s attention and they are currently investigating the issue.
It is clearly apparent that it is a server side error and the players are exhibiting disdain over the interruption caused. Bungie will be posting updates on the network issue on its official help forum. Users are advised to keep visiting the page and the Bungie help forum to check on developments and updates regarding the issue. Also, here are a few things worth trying:-
1) Ensure that your internet connection is strong enough to support Destiny 2, in this way one can make sure that the problem lies with the server and not with one’s Internet access.
2) Relaunch the game.
3)Try the aforementioned actions at a time when the server is usually inactive and there isn’t much traffic, you might be able to log into the game as server inactivity may have a dulling effect on the network error.
Even if these trials don’t work out, don’t worry. Bungie is working to remove the error and restore Destiny 2 to its former glory. Keep checking the support/help forum of Bungie so you can stay updated as to the current status of the error and Make sure to log in once it is removed. Happy gaming!!!
