@BungieHelp, the official service updates page for Destiny 2 has confirmed that an investigation is currently going on to rectify the issues related to the Season Pass’s access. Several players reported the issue and finally, the devs have made an announcement.
Destiny 2: Beyond Light + Season or Digital Deluxe Edition access issue
Players have been facing some problems while purchasing the Destiny 2: Beyond Light+SeasonPass or Digital Deluxe Edition on their PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Beyond Light+Season Pass can’t be purchased for now in PS5 and Xbox Series X|S which is a big disappointment for players willing to play. The devs have announced on Twitter that they are now investigating the issue. Although they have not yet announced the official update release date, it is expected to drop by soon.
While PS5 and Xbox X|S users are facing this issue, PC users are not in so much trouble since the issue is faced by only the next-gen console users.
In the meantime, many players are suggesting to fix other bugs in the game and unfortunately, no updates have been declared yet.
Other bugs found in the game
The community has been reporting various bugs that make the in-game experience a little dull. Some of the major bugs and glitches reported are-
- Sudden freeze frames are experienced during gameplay. Some screen tearing and lags are found as well.
- Some have reported that Nightfall has major respawn issues which makes it hard to fight a boss if a player dies on the second tier.
- Sometimes players cant access other player’s party or game sessions when logging in from their Playstation account.
In addition to this, the introduction of the next-gen update will now enable players to play Destiny2 at 4k 60fps on their PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Also, 2021 is going to be a great year for Destiny 2 as Bungie has confirmed the implementation of crossplay in the upcoming year.
