Dave the Diver How to enable VSync

If you cannot get enough of Dave the Diver, the hype about the game is real after all. But soon you will realize that enabling Vsync can actually enhance your gameplay experience. If you did not know what Vsync is, well, to put it simply, it is a technology that minimizes instances of screen tearing and flickering while playing a game. For casual games like Dave the Diver, it is recommended to turn on Vsync for a smooth experience. But how can you do that in the game? You must have tried it yourself, only to fail. Well, if that is the case, then this is just the right article for you.

While trying to turn on Vsync in Dave the Diver, you must have noticed that there is no in-game option for it. Yes, that’s right, there is no way to turn on Vsync using the in-game options and settings. So, how can you do it? Well, thankfully, you can make use of our GPU’s Control Panel to do the same.

Dave the Diver: How to enable VSync

Dave the Diver How to enable VSync

If you play games, you are either using an Nvidia GPU or an AMD one. In any case, we’ve got you covered. Just follow the steps given below, and you should be able to enable VSync in Dave the Diver in no time!

For Nvidia GPUs:

So, we are starting off with Nvidia GPUs since they are more common among gamers.

  • First, right-click on your desktop and select “Nvidia Control Panel” from the context menu. This will open the Nvidia Control Panel.
  • In the Nvidia Control Panel, navigate to “3D Settings” or “Manage 3D Settings” (the exact wording may vary depending on your driver version).
  • Under the “Global Settings” tab, locate the “Vertical Sync” option. By default, it is set to “Use the 3D application setting”.
  • Change the “Vertical Sync” setting to “On” to enable VSync for all applications, including Dave the Diver.
  • If you prefer to enable VSync for Dave the Diver only, you can choose the “Program Settings” tab, click “Add,” and browse for the game’s executable file. Once added, locate the “Vertical Sync” option and set it to “On” specifically for Dave the Diver.
  • Click “Apply” to save the changes, and you’re done! VSync should now be enabled for Dave the Diver on your Nvidia GPU.

For AMD GPUs:

  • To enable VSync while using an AMD GPU, right-click on your desktop and select “AMD Radeon Settings” or “AMD Radeon Software”.
  • You will now be headed to the AMD Control Panel. Here, click on “Gaming” or “Games”.
  • Now, look closely for the “Global Graphics” or “Global Settings” tab. Here, you will see the “Wait for Vertical Refresh” option. Change this setting to “Always On”.
  • Click “Apply” to save the changes.

Well, there you have it. With those steps, you should be able to enjoy Dave the Diver with VSync enabled to make the gameplay smoother and less jittery. That is all for this guide.
