Cyberpunk 2077 : How to export/import save game from Google Stadia to PC

We all know how Cyberpunk 2077 is creating such a huge impact on the gaming community. With its release in various platforms including the PC, PS4, PS4 Pro, PS5, and Xbox, it is also available in Google Stadia. So in this article, we will show you how to import/export Cyberpunk’s save files from Google Stadia to your PC.

Cyberpunk 2077- Import/export save files

Google Stadia is a cloud gaming service run under Google. It offers streaming video games up to 4k 60ps. All you need is a very fast internet connection and an average setup. Stadia performs very well with a good internet connection without the need for a powerful setup. You can easily run AAA titles on your average setup and enjoy the experience without much hassle.

Players have been playing Cyberpunk 2077 in Google Stadia as well. But certain situations might occur where you want to play it on your PC itself instead of Google Stadia. Thinking about having to start all over? Don’t worry, we have got you covered. To import the save games of Cyberpunk 2077 from Stadia to your PC, follow the given steps

  • First, open Cyberpunk in Stadia and make a manual save.
  • Go to https://takeout.google.com/. Now click on the option that says “Deselect all”
  • Then find Google Stadia at the bottom and select it.
  • After that, click on Next and then click on Export.

This process will transfer Google Stadia’s game data to a zip file directly.

  • Now download the .zip file that contains the save games

  • Unzip the .zip file and find your recently saved game. The directory is- \Takeout\Stadia\GAMING\GAME_SAVE”
  • Copy the saved game file. Open the Run window by pressing Win+R and type the following path- %userprofile%\Saved Games\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077
  • Create a new folder called ManualSave-1 and then paste the saved game file in the folder.

Start the game on your PC and you will find the ManualSave game file on the load game option. Enjoy!
