Are you having a hard time aiming in Cyberpunk 2077? Does it feel too smooth or too fast while shooting moving targets? Don’t’ worry because the problem is not you, but the game. Cyberpunk’s controller settings and sensitivity can be a real mess if you are playing in the standard settings. Here, we will show you what are the optimal settings for your controller and at what sensitivity should you play the game for easier controls.
Cyberpunk 2077- Controller Settings
Sensitivity plays a huge role when you’re trying to be precise to hit an enemy. Having high sensitivity means you have to be extremely stable with your aim or else things can go wrong pretty soon. Cyberpunk has a bunch of settings that increase your sensitivity while you’re moving to ease the amount of skill required but in fact it makes it even harder to aim. Here are some sensitivity settings to help get your aim better.
- The first thing you should be giving your attention to is the Inner Dead Zone option. Bring it down to zero as the outer dead zone at 0.90 will be enough
- Then change the Horizontal Sensitivity setting to somewhere between 6 and 9
- High vertical sensitivity can be really hard to control. Turn it down a notch to somewhere between 6 and 9
The next section you need to change is the Advanced Options Setting.
Turn it on and then change the following settings as given below
- Leave the Responsive Curve option to either Recommended or Dynamic
- Now turn the “Horizontal and Vertical Turning Bonus” option to 0 as they can increase your sensitivity while turning left or right.
- Go to the Horizontal Turning(ADS) option and turn that to 0 as well
You don’t need turning sensitivity at all so turning it to 0 will make your aim better at your default sensitivity.
Now, go to the 3rd Person Camera Settings and match the sensitivity of Horizontal and Vertical to that of the default sensitivity you have set earlier.
With all these new settings applied, you’re going to feel much more comfortable while aiming at the enemies in Cyberpunk 2077.
