The highly anticipated sequel to the popular Crashlands game is finally released. Titled Crashlands 2, the game has debuted on Windows, Android, and iOS devices. On PC, it is available for purchase via Steam, and is even playable on the Steam Deck. Anyway, if you play the game on your PC, it is obvious that you’d be curious to know where the game saves your progress on your system. If you indeed are looking for information on the same, this is just the guide you need.

Crashlands 2 is a single-player game of the open-world survival craft genre. It features the story of the beloved Flux Dabes, who, while returning to Woanope, was met with a mysterious blast that sent him off to a different region, far from his friends. That said, since that game is packed with content, you’ll be spending hours progressing the story. But to safeguard your progress, it is necessary that you know where the game saves the progress. So, here we are with all the details you need.

Getting access to the game’s save files isn’t just about safeguarding your progress. With these files, you can transfer your progress to another PC or even send the files to the developers if you are facing a certain issue in your playthrough. All in all, these files are quite important. Anyway, here’s where you can find them:

  • First, open Windows File Explorer by pressing Windows+E. After this, go to the C drive.
  • Inside the C drive, open the Users folder and then the folder with your username as its name. Inside the folder, you’ll need to find the AppData folder.
    • If you aren’t able to find it, you’ll have to enable the visibility of hidden files. To do so, click on the View button, then select the Show option, and then checkmark the Hidden Items option.
  • Once the AppData folder is found, open it, go to the Local folder, and then the Crashlands 2 folder.
  • Inside this folder, all your saved files will be located.

Note: Crashlands 2 supports cross-platform save. This means that your progress will be saved across both PC and mobile devices.

Well, now you know all about how to find the save files of Crashlands 2 on your PC. We hope that you find this guide informative. If you did, consider visiting DigiStatement for more such interesting reads on all things gaming.
