In 2023, Sony acquired Firewalk Studios from ProbablyMonsters with the intent of publishing the studio’s first title in 2024, Concord. Not much is known about the game at the moment, as both Firewalk and Sony have kept quiet when it comes to sharing anything related to it. What little we know regarding Concord is that it is a AAA multiplayer-only first-person shooter with PvP elements. Aside from that, Sony did confirm that the game will be heading for both the PlayStation 5 and PC. Besides that, this is all we know. The little teaser trailer that we got in 2023 didn’t show anything substantial at all, leaving many Sony fans utterly confused. Although it seems like Concord is set in space, judging by the spaceship jump in the trailer. While much about the game remains unknown, there are many who want to know whether the game can be played on the Steam Deck, Legion Go, or Rog Ally.
Competition is growing in the PC handheld sector, with MSI also dipping its toes in the market with its upcoming MSI Claw. It is truly a wonderful time to be a user of these PC handhelds. With so many major players in the market, it’s only evident that users would want to know whether a game will be playable on their chosen device or not. There’s a considerable amount of hype when it comes to Concord since it’s Firewalk’s first project, a studio comprised of former Bungie and Activision developers. So, will Concord be playable on the Steam Deck, Legion Go, and the Asus Rog Ally? Continue reading to find out!
Concord Game Steam Deck, Legion Go & Asus Rog Ally Support details
As of now, we don’t have any official announcements or info regarding Concord being supported for the Steam Deck, Legion Go, and the Rog Ally. Even right now, there’s very little information available on Concord. However, despite all that, we sincerely believe that the game will be playable on all three handhelds.
The reason why we are so confident about Concord being playable on these handhelds is because, as we stated earlier, the game is being developed for both the PS5 and PC. Furthermore, Concord is one of the many GaaS titles that Sony has greenlighted for its live-service push, so it only makes sense to have the game playable on as many devices as possible.
Now if you are worried about Concord not being supported on the Steam Deck, it’s better to throw out all those worries. Sony has always released their games on Steam, so making the game exclusive to stores like Epic will be a stupid decision all around. What players actually need to worry about are the game’s requirements. While Legion Go and Rog Ally are quite powerful performance-wise, the Steam Deck isn’t. Although we are confident that with some little tweaking, Concord will run just fine on the Deck. Right now, all you need to do is wait until more information on the game gets released.
