COD Warzone 2: How to fix Voice Chat & Mic Not Working Issue –
1) Select the correct Voice Chat Channel and unmute the lobby –
- You have to first press Options to bring up the Quick Menu options and go to the Channels tab.
- Next, you have to select the correct Voice Chat Channel where your Party is. You can go under Party Channels and make sure you are not connected to the wrong channel. Likewise, you can simply select the right voice chat channel for you and connect.
- After connecting to a channel, you can press the triangle button to set the Voice option to All Lobby. You also have to make sure that you are not muted. Likewise, you can mute or unmute by pressing the R3 button.
2) Make changes in the game’s audio settings –
- You have to go to the in-game Settings and then to Audio. Here, you have to set the Master Volume option to 100 and scroll down to the Voice Chat section. Under the Voice Chat section, you have to turn on the Voice Chat option, turn on the Proximity Chat option and select your Headset for the Voice Chat Device option.
- In case you cannot hear other players, you can also turn down the Open Mic Recording Threshold to 10-15. It is also a good idea to turn down the Voice Chat Volume to around 30 as the default of 100 is too high. Likewise, you can also test your microphone and set the microphone level here.
- You can then go under the Channels section and set the Game Voice Channel option to All Lobby. After doing so, you have to go back to the Settings page and go to Account & Network. Here, you have to go under the Online section and turn on Crossplay Communication.
3) Make changes to PlayStation 5 Sound and Mic settings –
- You have to go to the PlayStation 5 home screen and go to the Control Center. Here, you have to go to Sound and set your Output Device to the correct device. You can also adjust the volume level here.
- Similarly, you have to go to the Mic option in the Control Center and set the Mic option to your headset device.
- Next, you have to turn off Mute and go to the Adjust Microphone Level to make adjustments to your microphone.
4. Unmute the Battle Royale lobby –
You can launch the game and go to the Battle Royale lobby. Here, you may have accidentally muted all players in the lobby. You can unmute them by pressing the L2 button.
