Aside from all that, once again, there are a ton of things to unlock in MW3, and players are especially eyeing for the Menelaus Blue Camo.
Cosmetics are a big part of COD, and the Menelaus Blue Camo is certainly something many players are looking forward to unlocking. Don’t worry; it’s not something you will find particularly hard to unlock. This particular guide will ensure that. So, without much further ado, continue reading to find out how you can get and unlock the Menelaus Blue Camo in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
COD Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) Menelaus Blue Camo: How to get & unlock it
Like any other unlockable item in COD: Modern Warfare 3, the Menelaus Blue Camo can only be unlocked by completing its respective pre-requisite or challenge, which happens to be: Get 25 Kills while in Tactical Stance with the MCW.
For the uninitiated, Tactical Stance or Tac-Stance is a new gameplay mechanic, or more specifically, a new aiming option, introduced in MW3. You will know you are in a tactical stance when your weapon is positioned at a slanted angle. As for its application, TS is meant for close-quarters combat and is enabled by default in the game.
TS automatically activates while you are sliding, so keep that in mind. As for activating it normally, you can do it by aiming and pressing V on PC, while console players will need to press the bottom button on their controller’s d-pad. However, you can customize or change it by going to the in-game settings menu.
Now, to get the 25 kills, make sure you have the MCW equipped and that you have leveled up to at least level 28 so that you can enter into a tactical stance. After that, just go into any mode and start grinding for kills. If you don’t see your tac-stance kills tracking, make sure that there’s no laser installed on the MCW.
While Tac-Stance is certainly an innovative aiming option, the reaction from the community isn’t all that great. So, if you don’t like it, you can disable it by opening Settings > Gameplay and scrolling down to where the Tactical Stance Activation option is present. Just select Off from the drop-down menu, and Tac-Stance will remain turned off until you turn it on again.
Well, that’s all we have on this topic. And now that you know how to unlock the Menelaus Blue Camo, why not see how you can play split-screen multiplayer in the game?
