Well, once again, the gaming industry learns the fact that rushed development seldom translates to a good game. Sledgehammer Games’ COD: Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) has been met with quite a lot of negative reception thanks to the horrible campaign and lack of improvements from the previous titles. And then there’s the plethora of bugs and issues that players are facing right now. A major one is the Vault Edition’s battle pass not working as intended issue. Well, since you are reading this guide, it is possible that you are struggling with the same problem. If that’s the case, consider reading until the end for details regarding whether there is a fix for it yet.
The issue here is that players are unable to acquire the Battle Pass benefits of the Vault Edition in COD MW3. Players get 30 additional Tier Skips and the BlackCell battle pass, but for some reason, those aren’t available. And that’s not something you can just ignore. So, is there a fix for it? Well, continue reading to find out!
COD Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) Battle Pass (Vault Edition) Not Working Issue: Is there any fix yet
As stated before, the issue here is that players aren’t getting the Battle Pass benefit that comes with the Vault Edition. And we know exactly why. The reason why you are not getting the Battle Pass benefits is because COD: Modern Warfare 3 has yet to receive its Season 1 update. And with no Season 1 around, you can’t really get the Battle Pass tier skips and such. So, wait a while, and once Season 1 arrives in Modern Warfare 3, redeem those benefits. Now, if you need any more assurance, here’s what Activision has stated in the pre-order section:
Battle Pass, Call of Duty points, and Tier Skips will be accessible in Modern Warfare III once the Season 1 Battle Pass is made available in game. Battle Pass redemption applies to one season of Modern Warfare III Battle Pass only.
When is Season 1 going to be released?
Activision has not made any announcements regarding the release date of Season 1 for COD MW3, but the community has speculated that it will be released either on the 5th or 6th of December 2023. But since there is no official confirmation on the same, take this information with a pinch of salt. As for the new content, Activision was kind enough to announce some of it in a Twitter post. Since Season 1 will start in December, there will be a “holiday event, modes, and more”. The holiday event is Christmas, of course. Warzone will get a new Urzikstan map and “3 All-New 6v6 Core MP Maps and more”. There’s also “more story and secrets to discover” in Zombies. Lastly, modes like Gunfight, All or Nothing, and other MP modes will be coming in too.
#MW3 launch tomorrow is only the beginning. Season 1 is around the corner, and will be packed with even more ?
? 3 All-New 6v6 Core MP Maps and more
? Gunfight, All or Nothing, and more MP Modes
? More story and secrets to discover in #ModernWarfareZombies
? All-New…— Call of Duty (@CallofDuty) November 9, 2023
Besides all that, we are also expecting some QoL updates and general improvements. So, for now, just enjoy the game as is and wait for COD: Modern Warfare 3 Season 1 to arrive to unlock the Vault Edition benefits.
