One of the best features of the game Call of Duty Warzone is that it is available to play across all the possible platforms. Be it PC or Xbox One or PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5, you have the game available on everything. And here is a piece of even better news. You can very well link your PS, Xbox, and PC account with your Activision ID!
So why is this so good? It is because once you link your account with your Activision ID, you will be able to use the feature of cross-progression save. And once you can use this feature, you will have no loss of game data! This means that if you were playing on your PC and move over to Xbox later, you will have the same data available! But how can you do this linking thing?
Here are the steps using which you can link your Activision account to PS4, PS5, Xbox, and PC –
- So to do this, you will need a web browser to start things off. Go to your web browser, let us just say Google Chrome. In the browser, go to the upper right corner, and from the options available, select incognito mode or a private session. You have to do this since having ad blockers on can prevent you from signing in.
- Next, in the search box type “www.callofduty.com” and then hit enter.
- Once you are on the website, you will find the login option on the top right corner of your screen. Click on it.
- Once you get to the login page, you will find all the system options on the bottom. You will have PlayStation, Xbox, and PC options, and you can select the one that you are playing the game on.
- Once you have selected the option, say PlayStation, you will be taken to the page where you have to provide your ID. If you are using PlayStation, you will have to provide your PS ID and so on. After you have done that, you will have to verify the login through text and code verification.
- After you have done this, Call of Duty will ask you to enable Two-Factor Verification. You can start the process or simply click on Skip for Now. After this, you should see your account on the top right corner where you used to see the login option.
- Now, go to your Account on the top right corner, and then from the options, select Linked Accounts. If it does not load up right away, you have to repeat this and click on linked accounts once again. You will be taken to the page where you will have the option to link all the accounts like PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, and Battlenet.
- For example, if you want to link your Xbox to Call of Duty, just click on it. It will take you to a page where you have to enter the code sent to your linked email address.
- Once you have done that, it will ask you for the Two-Factor verification again. You can simply close out of it.
- Next, go back to linked accounts again and click on Link Xbox again. You will be taken to a page where you have to click on Continue.
- After you have done that, you will have to log in with your Microsoft account if you want to sign in with your Xbox account. So, complete the login task and you will be done!
Okay, it happens a lot of times that the linking thing does not show up on the website’s Accounts Linking page for some reason. If this did happen to you as well, do not worry as it is okay.
To confirm the linking stuff, go to your linked email and you will find a confirmation mail in there. And if you go to your Xbox, you will find it linked to your Activision ID! Now, your Activision account is linked to your PS4, PS5, Xbox, and PC.
