The Rengoku sword is hidden in a chest inside the Ice Castle. This castle is situated in the Second Sea and can be found to the North of the Dark Arena. If you didn’t already know, you can only access the Second Sea when you reach level 700, so if you’ve just started playing the game, you won’t be able to access it and therefore can’t get the Rengoku Sword.
Well, if you’ve unlocked the Second Sea, visit and enter the Ice Castle. However, be prepared, as you will find the Ice Castle boss, the Awakened Ice Admiral, guarding this place. He’s a level 1400 Boss NPC, meaning defeating him won’t be an easy task. If you can keep your composure and beat the Awakened Ice Admiral, there’s a 5% chance that you’ll receive a hidden key. You’re going to need this key to open the chest, which has the Rengoku Sword, so you have to keep coming back and defeating this boss until he drops the item. If you don’t want to fight the boss, you can try to acquire the hidden key by defeating the Snow Lurkers or Arctic Warriors right outside of the castle. Remember that the chances of receiving the hidden key from these NPCs are relatively lower (approximately 0.5%).
Once you have the hidden key, you need to access the chest. The chest is hidden inside a secret room under the stairs, where you found the Awakened Ice Admiral. Navigate to this area and then turn towards the right side of the stairs. You’ll locate the secret room here, and inside the room, there will be the hidden chest. Open the chest with the hidden key, and it will provide you with the Rengoku Sword along with the title Samurai.
