Best Buy now has notification options for the 3080 and 3090

Nvidia has revealed its latest line of high-end graphics cards, the GeForce RTX 3000 series, and to keep it short, it is a wonderful time to be a Team Green fan. The cards revealed were the RTX 3070, RTX 3080 and RTX 3090. All the cards RTX 3000 cards revealed are more powerful than last year’s flagship RTX 2080Ti. This means that the RTX 3070 is more powerful than the RTX 2080Ti while costing less than half of it.

The RTX 3080 is the most balanced of the bunch with respect to power and performance. According to Nvidia, it is twice as powerful as the RTX 2080Ti (while still being much cheaper). So, if you have been looking to upgrade, now seems like a fairly good time to do so. The RTX 3090 is obviously the most powerful, with Nvidia cheekily calling it the “BFGPU”.

But the thing is before you can upgrade, you need to know the price and where you can actually buy one. The RTX 3070, RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 will cost USD 499, 699, and 1499, respectively. As for when these cards will hit store shelves, Nvidia is starting with the RTX 3080. The RTX 3080 will release on September 17, the RTX 3090 will release on September 24 and the RTX 3070 is set to arrive sometime in October.

And today the RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 have been spotted on Best Buy with the “Notify Me” option. You have the choice to be notified when they are available to purchase. With shortages being predicted, it would be prudent to get yours as early as possible so you do not have to wait longer or deal with scalps. You can always buy from AIBs, but there is something special about getting a Founder’s Edition.
