Best Apex Legends Settings for high fps & no lag in 2022

Apex Legends was the newest entry in the battle royal genre back in February 2019. The game took the world by storm with its unique characters and their abilities. The most exciting part about the game was its movement mechanics. Apex has now been out for about 3 years and is still going strong. The game regularly receives new updates and additions to its pool of agents. With the highly competitive nature of the game, it’s only normal for players to want a competitive edge over others. But, Apex’s Settings menu is very confusing at times. So, today we at Digistatement have compiled a list of settings you can change, and things you can do to get the Settings for high fps in the game for a competitive advantage over other players. Without further ado, let’s get straight to it.

You don’t have to change your settings to get more fps in Apex Legends. Simply tweaking your system settings can sometimes be enough to give you a good fps boost.

Changing system settings

One of the most common things to gain fps on a laptop is to adjust the laptop’s power settings to High or Max Performance. Here’s how you do it:

  • Click on the battery icon
  • Adjust the icon towards the right, where it says Best Performance and you’re done. You should now be getting more fps in Apex.

Another method to get more fps is to simply update your GPU drivers. GPU drivers are like an instruction manual for your GPU, they feed information to your GPU which in turn gives you more fps. Simply, visit your hardware manufacturer’s official website and download the latest drivers from there. Click here for AMD’s and here for NVIDIA’s latest GPU Drivers.

Tweaking the settings

Now that your system has been optimized, we can move on to the in-game settings that will help you get more Fps. It is a common practice in Fps games to sacrifice eye candy for fps, even famous streamers like Aceu and Shroud don’t play with their settings maxed out. So consider lowering your settings for more fps. Here are our recommended settings for Apex Legends:

  • Disable Vsync
  • Put the game on Fullscreen mode
  • Adjust the resolution to match your monitor’s native resolution
  • FOV is something that is left up to personal preference, although a lower FOV will give you more fps
  • The texture streaming budget should not be higher than 2GB.
  • Set your texture filtering to 2X
  • Set everything else to either low or disabled

After you’ve applied these settings you should be getting more fps in the game.

Conclusion

You should now be getting high FPS with no lag in Apex Legends. Visit Digistatement for more news on Apex Legends. We hope you found this article to be informative.
