Steam Next Fest is happening right now, and what a wonderful time it is. From Lightyear Frontier to Synergy, there are a lot of great demos to play and enjoy. And among these is also Broadside Games’s upcoming game, Bears in Space. Scheduled for a March 22, 2024 release, Bears in Space is an over-the-top bullet-hell FPS where you will be able to consume honey pots and transform yourself into a, yes you guessed it – a Bear. With a fun premise like this, it’s only evident that fans would want to know if they would be able to enjoy the game on PC handhelds like the Steam Deck, Legion Go, and the Asus Rog Ally. So, we have shared all the details regarding the same.
So far, the demo for Bears in Space has been receiving quite positive feedback from players, although some have complained about visuals and getting motion sickness. The developers have accordingly acknowledged these complaints and as the release date approaches, we are sure that most of these issues will be fixed by then. Anyway, will fans be able to play the game on PC handhelds when Bears in Space releases on March 22, 2024? Let’s find out!!
Bears in Space Steam Deck, Asus Rog Ally & Lenovo Legion Go Support Details
As of now, developer Broadside Games hasn’t shared any major details regarding Bears in Space being playable on the Steam Deck, Legion Go, and Rog Ally. As we stated before, the game is currently scheduled for a Steam release, and so far, that’s all the devs have shared when it comes to the game’s release. So, does that mean fans will not be able to enjoy Bears in Space on their PC handhelds? No.
While the developers might have refrained from sharing any information on the game’s support for PC handhelds, we are more than confident that you will be able to play it on one. If you go take a look at the game’s Steam page, and check out its minimum and recommended requirements, you will realize that the game doesn’t really need much processing power to run. All three PC handhelds—Steam Deck, Asus Rog Ally, and Lenovo Legion GO—come with a processor that will be able to run the game without any major issues. And with a little bit of tinkering, you should have no problems playing the game on a higher and more stable FPS. And if that’s not enough, you can go ahead and download the Bears in Space demo right now and try the game for yourself on whatever PC handheld you happen to be using. Do note, though, that the demo will be available until February 12, the day Steam Next Fest ends. So, check out the demo, see if it runs well on your PC handheld, and if you like it, add the game to your wishlist.
