Developed and published by Rebellion, the studio behind the Sniper Elite series, Atomfall is their newest entry into the action-adventure genre. If you take a look at the game, you will notice the similarities between it and Fallout. But, this game isn’t just a Fallout ripoff; it is much more than what meets the eye. Set in a post-nuclear disaster Britain, your primary goal in the game is to explore the beautifully designed world, craft equipment, barter, and progress the story to find answers. While there’s so much more to talk about the game, we will now focus on the sole purpose of this guide; the save file location of Atomfall. If you are looking to access the saves, consider reading this guide for more details on the same.
Atomfall is a single-player action-adventure RPG which means that you will be spending many hours on it to progress. But what happens if one day, you launch the game only to find out that your saves are corrupted? Hours of gameplay just vanished. It’s a nightmare. This is the reason why we recommend that you keep backing up your save files to ensure that no matter what, your progress stays safe. Although the game does have Steam Cloud support, it is always better to manually keep a backup of the save files for peace of mind. Anyway, continue reading for more information.

Atomfall Save File Location: Where is it
Just like most games, the save files of Atomfall are located in the C drive of your PC. So, start by opening File Explorer and then opening the C drive. Here, open the Users folder and then the folder with your username as its name. Inside this folder, open the AppData folder. If you are unable to find the folder, select the View button and then click Show>Hidden Items. This should make the AppData folder visible. Once found, open it and head over to the Local folder. Here, find and open the Atomfall folder. Inside this, open the PC_ProfileSaves folder. Inside this folder, all your in-game saves are present.
So, now you can backup the files to safeguard your progress or delete them to start from scratch. The choice is yours. With that said, we hope that you find this guide informative. If you did, consider visiting DigiStatement for more such interesting reads on all things gaming.
