Animal Crossing New Horizons International Museum Day event is here and we are the first to cover it. The event will last from May 18 to May 31 so you have plenty of time to head to the Museum and talk to Blathers to get the rewards. The stamp rally is not a very long event and you can complete it in about 5 mins. We are not sure about what happens the next day but we can guess that it is going to be the same. So spoilers ahead reading, let’s get down to how to complete the stamp rally.
International Museum Day Event Start Date & Time
The International Museum Day event will be held in Animal Crossing: New Horizons from May 18th to May 31st for as long as two weeks. The event was implemented with Version 1.2 Update but cannot be started with time travel of any sorts. Also if you do frequently time travel, make sure to change your clock to the present time or the event will not load on your device.
You should also have a Nintendo Account attached to your Nintendo Switch profile to enjoy the event. So make sure to complete all the pre-requisites.
How To Play International Museum Day
As you load up the game on May 18th, you will be greeted by Isabelle with an announcement from Blathers. She will tell you about the Stamp Rally organised for the International Museum Day at the Island’s Museum. You can then head to speak to Blathers and he will initiate the event.
Blathers will tell you what is in store and explain to you the importance of the occasion and the stamp rally. He will provide you with a stamp card looking like the one below to begin participating in the event.
How To Get Stamps For Your Stamp Card
Once you’ve your stamp card ready, you can begin collecting the stamps all over the Museum. You will find handy carts all over the Museum with a spotted owl logo marking them. They will have a stamp set up and you can just click to fill in your stamp card.
There will be a total of 9 stamp cards available in the event three for each category of exhibits. Fish, Fossils and Bugs rooms will have 3 handy carts each for every stamp!
After you fill the stamp card with 3 stamps, head to Blathers and he will coronate you with a completion stamp!
