The new update is here, and we can’t be more excited! As far as updates go, Among Us has seen several updates that have been, a tad bit unpopular with the players. One of these updates is the Quick Chat feature. Here’s how to fix the Among US Quick Chat not working error:

A brief introduction to the game before we dive into the article. Among Us is an online multiplayer game that supports up to 10 players in one game. The game involves 2 types of players, Imposters, and Crewmates. Crewmates go about completing tasks and keeping a watchful eye. This is due to Imposters, which are players that look normal but have the ability to kill off Crewmates, with kill cooldowns.
When a player is killed or when they are caught doing suspicious activities, you can either report the bodies or call an emergency meeting. This leads to a meeting where you can rally against a player to vote them out. Once Crewmates vote out all the Imposters, they win. However, the Imposters can sabotage the game to win as well. The simplistic gameplay mechanism, coupled with the cool artwork, has made Among Us one of the most famous games as of now.
Among US Quick Chat not working
Quick Chat was a feature included in an update for Among Us. The feature had pre-written messages that you can use to communicate over the game. Quick Chat was included to bring in some restrictions to the chat, which was free for all previously. This would mean trouble for players that were especially young and exposed to inappropriate messages.
If you cannot access regular chat and find yourself only able to use Quick Chat, you need to do the following steps. On the home screen, you need to go to the Account tab. There, you need to Sign In for your player. This will allow you to play the game with normal chat. Please keep in mind that Quick Chat is mandatory for players below the age of 13.
