Among Us has practically become the most popular free multiplayer game in the industry right now, and a big factor behind its success is the way that the developers, InnerSloth, continue to update the game with brand new content and features: in this article, we will be taking a look at the hide n’ seek mod, and when it could be coming out. Right, let’s get straight into it.
If you have played Among Us with your friends for any period of time, you may already know about the unofficial Hide n’ seek mode in the game. Players came up with it on their own by using a special combination of settings. Basically, the impostor becomes the seeker. Their vision is limited to the minimum from the game settings, and that of the crewmates is set to the normal. At the beginning of the game, the seeker must announce that they are the seeker. Now, it is up to the crewmates to escape the seeker, who can barely see the map, before he kills them. It is not permitted to vote out the seeker, and the hiders win after a predetermined time limit.
Setting up this game mode is not too difficult, but it must be said that if you are not playing with your friends but are with randoms in a public game, it can be extremely annoying when a crewmate, or worse, the seeker, has no idea how to play hide n’ seek on Among Us. It is almost impossible to explain via chat. As such, having the hide n’ seek mode finally come to the game as an actual feature will be extremely helpful and fix a lot of hassle that players currently face.
We hope you are as excited as us to play in the new game mode coming soon to Among Us, presumably in a few months.
