The technology industry today keeps buzzing for almost 24X7. As enthusiasts we can’t deny that we have all collectively become suckers for leaks and rumors and reveals. From the first announcement of an upcoming gadget/hardware the manufacturers tend to boast as if there isn’t anything better. Sometimes the manufacturers prove right in their claims and sometimes the products are better gone and forgotten. AMD would be one happy brand today as one of their Ryzen 5 CPUs achieved a big milestone figure. The Ryzen 5 3600 CPU has now been sold for over a 100K+ times.
More about the Ryzen 5 3600 CPUs
The big news was delivered by TechEpiphany who on their Twitter handle posted the same. When the Ryzen 5 3600 was launched it came out as a certain delight for those on a restricted budget but unrestricted ambitions. The popularity of these could be known by the fact that even today these have gone out of stock in Malaysia. Many scalpers are selling them at overwhelming prices. Even though the processor hasn’t got those amazing gaming CPU like specs, you don’t see it translating in the performance. It also edges past the Intel i5 chipset PCs which do not provide base clock speed with Simultaneous Multithreading support.
The Ryzen 5 3600 is a six-core processor with AMD’s Zen2 architecture. The processor proves really impressive with X570 chipset compatibility and also offers PCle 4.0 standard support. AMD’s milestone processor also got the better of Intel’s Core i7-8086K in the Geekbench multi-core test. Last month, AMD launched its newest Ryzen 5000 processors, which consists of 4 SKUs expected to go on sale by the end of November.
